Welcome to Cherish & Joy the Home of the Original Silky born in California in 1987.  The Original Silky's were the blankets that I had made for my three children when they were babies.  All of my children  suffered from asthma and allergies and they needed great soft blankets that were hypoallergenic but still fashionable and unique.  Each one loved there Silky so much that every time a friend had a baby I would make them there own special Silky.  So once my youngest started school,  I decided to offer them to everyone and that is how Cherish and Joy was born.  My daughter, the original Silky baby, now works for the company and still loves  her new and old silky blankets!
